- Determine proper asset allocations while weighing risk/return tradeoffs in the equity and fixed income markets.- Coordinate with, advise, and guide the SMIF leadership team and class of approximately 60 students, including helping develop lesson plans and structuring class sessions for the greater SMIF body which culminate in an annual RFP presentation to the CFAOC in which the CSUF team is judged against other schools in the OC area.

- Contribute to the active management of funds for the CFA Society of Orange County.- Assist in the creation of investment recommendations, monthly reports, and the year-end Request for Proposal Competition hosted by the CFAOC.- Gain exposure to both the equity and fixed income markets.

- Coordinate with alumni/industry professionals to bring high-quality speakers to the CSUF Finance Association.- Design a comprehensive schedule of speakers to cater to various specialties in the finance field to best serve the members of the Finance Association.- Coordinate with Directors of Engagement and the executive leadership team to plan events and implement strategic initiatives to grow the Finance Association.
