Dominick graduated from the State University of New York at Oneida with a Bachelor of Science in 2001. Shortly after college, he worked for the NY State Office For Technology building serverside applications for state agencies. A few years later he started his first company around building applications using a broad range of domains and technologies. His expertise in Java eventually led him to work on the acclaimed open source live streaming project, Red5. While developing, maintaining and promoting the server, several new opportunities presented themselves. In 2007, Dominick co-founded Infrared5 in Boston Massachusetts as a result of the phenomenal success of the project. His current role remains Infrared5's CIO. He is a veteran in the streaming media space and he is responsible for promoting internal development standards and practices as well as a strategic role in the services around Infrared5's core product, Red5 Pro
