•Monthly close activities (Distribution, Branded Services and Channels): •Prepare close deliverables for Business Unit (BU) owned accounts and provide to Enterprise Financial Services (EFS) for consolidating according to close calendar due dates, including accruals, reserves and journal entries. •Review activity in EFS owned accounts for reasonableness and coordinate with EFS if any adjustments are required. •Perform account reconciliations for BU owned accounts and provide to EFS for consolidation into work papers per close calendar. •Provide input and clarity to EFS on the most significant components of the financial statements to allow for comprehensive understanding. •Prepare specific footnotes and supplemental schedules not prepared by EFS (e.g., commitments, contingencies, accounting policy changes, collaborative agreements). •Prepare Cause of Change explanations and analysis for P&L, cash flow and balance sheet for BU owned accounts. Analyze actual against plan, budget, and prior year. •Responsible for completeness and accuracy of accounting/reporting (including management reporting) of these business units. •Ensure vendor invoices are processed and paid timely. •Assist in defining processes for new lines of business. •Assist in preparation of all forecasts – Budget, Re-forecasts, and Long Term Plan: •Coordinate with FP&A to ensure revenues are correctly reported in SAP by business unit, account, trading partner etc. •Coordinate with Cash Applications and Reporting organization to ensure disbursements are correctly forecast and the full cash forecast is correctly reported in SAP. •Coordinate with other BUs (e.g., Worldwide Marketing, TechOps, Corporate) to ensure direct costs and allocated costs are properly budgeted and reported in SAP. •Assist in divisional SOX compliance, internal and external audit support, and tax support. •Special projects as requested by Director/ Exec.
