Dominic A. Morelli, Managing Principal of Capacity Benefits & Financial Services (CBFS), an EPIC Company, offers expertise in the entire employee benefits arena. He has a master’s in public administration (MPA) from Marist College and is a U.S. Army’s Command and General Staff College graduate. His career began with Liberty Mutual Ins. Co. Success lead him to an Insurance Analyst position at Continental Can Group, a company employing 40,000 people. He demonstrated an ability to create and implement cost control measures, while preserving employee assets. He took his skill set to Revlon; over the next nine years, he earned many promotions, leading to Director of Insurance for the U.S. operations. There he implemented risk management strategies and efficiently used corporate insurance funds. When MacAndrew and Forbes acquired Revlon, he was appointed Director of Insurance for their worldwide operations. He merged separate entities and restructured benefits with self and fully insured components, saving millions of dollars. He was recruited to Cambridge Financial to create employee benefits services. He built his division into a multi-million-dollar operation.His final move was to CBFS, an EPIC Company. EPIC ranks top 10 for commercial brokers in the U.S. and top 20 globally. His mission is to take a hands-on approach to promptly improve cost efficiencies of employee benefits programs with quality benefit levels. Throughout his career, he served in the U.S. Army National Guard, reaching the Colonel rank before retiring after 30 years of service. He last served as Principal Staff Officer in charge of the Governor’s initiative to coordinate divisional emergency response to local communities. He served as Executive Director – Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) and President and Board Director for the Association of the U.S. Army (AUSA). He serves as a Commissioner on the City of Yonkers’ Human Rights Commission for over 20 years.
