He has 14 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, working on public policy, government relations, and communications. He began working in state government in late 2017. He has also taught, mentored, and supervised university students.A lifelong poet and writer, Dominic obtained a B.S. in astrophysics (Phi Beta Kappa) from Indiana University, with minors in English, math and physics. Dominic built on this foundation of critical thinking and communications by earning a Master of Fine Arts in creative writing and a Master of Social Work in social policy and evaluation, both from the University of Michigan.
