In einer Welt schneller Veränderungen erleben wir die Dynamisierung des Publikums, auch im Ausbleiben der Konzertbesuche. Der Besucherrückgang betrifft alle Altersgruppen; bei jüngeren Generationen scheint oft ein grundlegender Bezug zu unserer Kunst zu fehlen. Für mich setzt Musik wie keine andere Kunstform Energien frei und berührt im Innersten. In engster Zusammenarbeit mit Künstler:innen kreieren wir Kulturmanager:innen Visionen am Pulsschlag der Gesellschaft. Was heute als kulturelles Erbe gilt, war seinerzeit modern und innovativ. Wie bleiben wir identitätsstiftend? Wie passen wir unser reichhaltiges Kulturvermächtnis an die Bedürfnisse des modernen Publikums an und geben zeitgenössischen Künstler:innen Raum? Dass es uns beim Musikkollegium Winterthur gelungen ist, während der Pandemie trotz einschränkender Massnahmen, aber mit einem agilen Orchester und Management-Team einen Großteil der Konzerte durchzuführen, beflügelt und motiviert mich, ebenso wie die unmittelbare Verdreifachung der Abonnementzahlen direkt nach der Krise. Identifikation mit unserer Institution entsteht meiner Meinung nach nicht allein durch neue Formate und zeitgemässe Kommunikation. Ich bin davon überzeugt, dass Authentizität, Interesse am Publikum und Gastfreundschaft, aber auch moderne Organisationsstrukturen hinter den Kulissen, Teamwork, Selbstreflexion und eine unstillbare Neugierde genauso wichtig sind. Durch meine Präsenz auf LinkedIn möchte ich mit Akteur:innen, Sponsor:innen und möglichst diversen Stakeholder.innen aus dem internationalen Kultur- und Festivalbetrieb in Dialog treten. The festival lasts one week and is best known for the international jazz workshop for national and international young, outstanding jazz musicians with renowned tutors and several venues that are converted into jazz clubs.
