Design System Meetup is a very popular Sydney meetup where people share ideas and techniques around design systems. We meet every second Monday of every second month and each event is booked out in advance and has it's waiting list fill up.as the founder and co-organiser I deal with scheduling talks, finding venues and making sure food and drinks are taken care of. One of the biggest things we, the organisers, like to pay attention to is the curation of the talks and keeping them high quality and relevant.

The Digital Transformation Agency is a federal government entity that seeks to help government improve digital services to make them simple, clear and fast.I was a tech lead for two teams who were building government services. A substantial part of my role was to collaborate with other departments. Westpac is one of Australia's "big four" banks and is Australia's first and oldest banking institution with 14 mil customers and about 40,000 employees.I was tasked to build the first Australian design system inside the customer experience (CX) team.
