- Supported manufacturing/production from component processing to top-level assembly for the Voyant 5mm Fusion laparoscopic (trocar compatible) electrosurgical tissue fusion device.- Operated under a 21 CFR 820 and ISO 13485 compliant Quality Management System to Validate and implement new tooling/fixtures, processes, and device components through Process Validation (IQ, OQ, PQ, and PPQ).- Designed tooling/machining fixtures and custom component/device inspection fixtures using Solidworks and coordinated with machinists during fabrication and assembly. - Evaluated processes using various statistical methods such as ANOVA (Analysis of Variance), Two One Side Equivalence Tests (TOST), and Process Capability (Cp, Cpk).- Project manager to design and implement new top level inspection fixtures for device clamping force which doubled the mean time between required maintenance, decreased Gauge Repeatability and Reproducibility by 11%, and closed a High-Risk CAPA associated with an FDA audit. - Employed root cause analysis techniques such as fishbone diagrams, 5 Whys, and contradiction matrices to investigate process/material non-conformances and disposition materials.- Earned Certification as a Certified Investigator and signed off on Non-conformance Investigation Reports.- Engineer in charge for final top-level assembly manufacturing line of the 5mm Fusion Device.
