Dominique Wu is an XR creator, author, and adjunct professor known for her dedication to user-centric spatial interfaces and in-depth user research within 3D environments. She developed and launched LitStage, an immersive literature learning experience currently available for beta testing on SideQuest.Her expertise in XR design services has benefited a range of companies, including Meta and Walmart’s Store No. 8 innovation hub. In addition to her consultancy work, Dominique leads Hummingbirdsday Design Studio and XReality Pro, where she designs innovative spatial solutions for various industries. Her passion for the field drives her to share insights, inspire exploration, and contribute to professional forums like AWE, as well as academic environments. She is the author of the book Spatial Design: Breaking the 2D Paradigm.As an Adjunct Professor at Cañada College, Dominique is committed to advancing XR and Spatial Computing education. She leverages her skills in XR design, coding, and AI to influence immersive technology development, impacting leading companies and the industry for over a decade.Currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in E-Learning at East Bay University, Dominique aims to integrate XR into immersive training and education programs. Her project, LitStage, introduces young adults to literature and history through a fully immersive platform and is supported by the Meta Start Program.In building a thriving XR community, Dominique has engaged over 30,000 participants in the U.S. through tutorials, speaking engagements, and hackathons organized under XReality Pro. She also hosts weekly virtual meetings for spatial design professionals, fostering ongoing learning and collaboration.Dominique’s projects—particularly those involving spatial design prototypes in Unity and the creation of user-friendly spatial interfaces—focus on enhancing user experiences through forward-thinking, practical design solutions.
