Perform physical failure analysis to support cross-functional project teams in order to resolve fab issue and R&D. Main tasks including chemical/ elemental analysis, defect/ nanoparticle analysis, reverse engineering, construction analysis and EFA failure mode justification.Key Accomplishments- Extensively developed new PFA technique for FIB/ TEM sample preparation for smaller and advanced process nodes. Participated in collaborative project with Daimler, BMW and Volkswagen. Strong liaison was made during the internship with engineering manager to design new nozzle to improve the efficiency of the greasing machine by using ProE. Assistance was given to support a team of process engineer to develop new process line for new project.- Continuous improvement on PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) and other car components process.- Study on plastic moulding and laser printing- Identify and improve lead time of a full process line- Root cause analysis & failure analysis on parts which couldn't fulfill random test run- Prepare reports for tests procedure and result (Chamber test, Insert test and etc) according to the SOP.
