Interning for award winning Director, Peter Berg (Lone Survivor, Friday Night Lights), and his then assistant turned producer Polly Auritt during pre-production and production of the film "Hancock" with Will Smith and Charlize Theron gave me insight and real world experience at working in the Film/TV Industry. I learned how to do daily administrative work including rolling calls, writing and editing script coverage, researching, running errands, but most importantly I learned how a major TV/ Film production office operates and I was able to establish relationships with producers and content suppliers. This hands on experience and knowledge would help me as a video producer for my own company and clients.
