-Knowledge of textile, fabrics, clothing design, supply chain, research R &D, merchandising and product development.-Work closely with Senior Production manager and Sales manager and creative to ensure all samples are executed correctly and in a timely fashion.-Manage sample inventory and track product for deadlines-Work with manufacturers/vendors to resolve issues during the sample process-Provide feedback and continued liaison for required revisions/resample with vendors, keeping production and sales manager updated throughout the process-Maintain & update sample tracker WIP to keep all sampling organized and follow up with vendors in a timely manner. Manages workflow, prioritizing consistent follow through with factories on proto and pre-production sampling.-Set sampling priorities with vendors based on PO’s and desired deliveries-Communicate approval comments and corrections to internal and external channels: trackers, factories/vendors and partners as applicable-Review sample requests and identify any sampling/production concerns and provide possible solutions. Communicate necessary information to respective teams.-Brainstorm new process that promote efficiencies with order ingestion.-Outstanding verbal & written communication skills and able to liaise internally with various teams such as production/sales/brand mgmt.. and externally with manufacturers/vendors/customers-Trained eye for elements of design: ie. Color, proportion, balance as well as aesthetic detail-Ability to self-manage/work independently, demonstrate leadership and stress management skills- Reviewing and communicates intent of tech packs, ensuring free of errors- Analyze samples and provide clear comments regarding quality and construction- Organize and maintain product storage system, including R&D samples- Assign graphics to artists to be separated and control flow of artwork releases-Review licensed artwork and evaluate for any potential corrections before Proto/PP step
