I am a named inventor on several patents in the area, and have a number of world-firsts under my belt too. I currently lead the Innovation and Business Development for my company id3as - We are leaders in IT Broadcast Workflow engineering for cloud infrastructure and consider ourselves the original Software Defined Media Workflow company (2009). Public Stages: I have been writing and Contributing Editor at StreamingMedia.com for many years as a freelance journalist. I have been Chairing Content Delivery World Forum (through various transfers of name and ownership) for nearly a decade now. I also have a number of publications out on Wiley Academic press, and recently have begun to Guest-Lecture at Sussex University.I also am active in the First Person View Drone Racing space - which presents interesting technical challenges with video and air law and has won me some International recognition (and is simply downright fun!), and run a popular weekly Internet Radio Station to keep my love of music alive.More recently i founded www.greeningofstreaming.org which is driving collaboration across the streaming supply chain to improve energy efficiency.
