Manager, Sport And Event Development
CurrentThe Sport & Event Development manager provides leadership, management and direction to a diverse group of recreation professionals in the facilitation and provision of a wide variety of recreation, sport and special event opportunities throughout the City. Key areas of focus include; the overall management of the activities occurring in all city wide recreation facilities (Arenas, Stadiums and Sport fields plus aquatic sport group time allocation in City owned aquatic facilities), development and enhancement of the city wide sport delivery system and leadership and, oversight of the City’s role in the development and support for outdoor events, festivals and special events with City wide benefit.
