I have over 22 years of law enforcement experience. My duties have included but not limited to serving as the tactical training officer, field training officer & safety officer for the department. I also serve as a part time Deputy Sheriff for the Jo Daviess County Sheriffs Office & as a Police Officer for the East Dubuque Police Department. Since 2005 I have trained & served as a team member/trainer for the Illinois Law Enforcement Alarm System (I.L.E.A.S.) REGION 2 Weapons of Mass Destruction /Special Response Team. Additionally I am a certified instructor for Rapid Deployment / Active Shooter training & Incident Response to Terrorist Bombings trainings. I have extensive training in Law Enforcement Protective Measures, Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and Explosive (CBRNE) training, Leas than Lethal Restraint Systems, Methamphetamine Tracking, WMD Incident Response to include Respiratory Protection, Anti-Terrorism for Law Enforcement, Domestic/International Terrorism Tactical Intervention, & I have completed the Warrior's Edge training course. I've received commendations from the Illinois State Attorney's Office for investigative & intervention efforts in keeping illegal drugs/illegal guns off the streets within my jurisdiction. Additional commendations highlight my tactical assistance during a high profile murder investigation conducted by the Jo Daviess County Sheriff's Office.
