Digital Pre-Press Technician
CurrentResponsible for color managing and conversion of all digital and conventional files to Gracol standard. Ripped, trapped, imposed, proofed, and plated conventional files. Scheduled jobs on multiple machines at once managing quality and work load while ensuring on time delivery.• Served as main operator of large format press, printing on both rigid and roll material with basic onsite finishing capabilities. • Performed basic maintenance as well as contracted service with technicians on both large format and plate making equipment.• Created process to print unique job in three layers (color/white/color) on brushed aluminum board stock in large format.• Worked with inhouse and outside bindery vendors to determine correct imposition of all jobs printed on sheet fed press or web press for perfect binding or saddle stich jobs.
