Responsible for leading team of IT and business representatives in the modernization of all web front end, mid tier hardware and software infrastructure state of the art upgrades. This includes, but is not limited to front end web servers and operating systems, mid tier servers and operating systems and interfaces to back end databases, including SQL and JDE. The server community for this project involves over 40 servers and operating systems, going from 32 bit to 64 bit architecture virtualization and establishing new environments for development, QA, production, training and accelerated QA over a 10 month timeframe.* Typical duties include leading team of network operations, development, QA, security management and business sponsors in building the Project Plan, WBS, Project Schedule, managing issues and risks and monitoring/reporting status and attending daily SCRUM meetings. * Responsible for leading team implementing a single technology platform based on CISCO unified communications, CISCO wireless and Cisco Virtual Office Express.
