The Alliance is a not-for-profit organization with the mission of driving growth & prosperity in the Findlay•Hancock County region. It is comprised of three distinct but similar divisions, the Findlay Hancock County Chamber of Commerce, Economic Development, and Convention & Visitors Bureau. The CEO sits on and reports to the Governance Board and provides oversight to the three divisional Advisory Boards. The focus of the role is to provide strategic direction for the overall organization while driving collaboration between the divisions.• Developed and implemented a Strategic Direction for the overall organization with an updated vision & strategic priorities complementary to the existing divisional goals & objectives• Implemented Board level report-outs & metrics for the divisions to keep the Governance Board better engaged in the key initiatives• Worked with legal counsel to amend & restate the Code of Regulations (By-Laws) for the Alliance and each division along with implementation processes to maintain all policies & procedures• Completed both internal and external Customer Satisfaction surveys to provide base-line metrics and began implementation of action plans to improve upon the same• The city of Findlay received the Top Micropolitan Award in the United States in 2022 and 2023

Responsible for Global Quality of Cooper Tire's Manufacturing Operations including Supplier Quality Management. The focus of this role is to migrate from disparate regional quality systems to implementation of a Global Quality Management process based on a solid foundation of a lean structured problem-solving mentality. Most recently responsible to lead the integration of Cooper's quality management system into Goodyear as a result of their recent acquisition. Key accomplishments included:• Investigated, vetted, and integrated 28 key quality processes between Cooper and Goodyear into one Global Organization in 9 months.• Enhanced Cooper’s Business Management System through standardization of the foundational ISO9001 and/or IATF 16949 Quality Management System across all locations• Completed implementation of a Quality Management System in Cooper’s Vietnam Joint Venture• Consistently reduced customer warrantee returns by 5% YOY through ensuring adherence to quality management systems

Responsible for developing Cooper’s manufacturing strategies, global sourcing of products, and providing key engineering support for operations. Focus on driving the maturity of Cooper's Standardized Manufacturing Operating System expanding across nine manufacturing plants in North America, Europe, and Asia. Functional areas reporting directly to this role include Global Sourcing, Lean Six Sigma/CI, Industrial Engineering, Process & Reliability Engineering, Digital Manufacturing, and the Cooper Production System. Key accomplishments included:• Facilitated cross-functional teams in the development of a 5 Year Global Manufacturing Strategy that was reviewed with and approved by Cooper’s Board of Directors in 2020• Launched 5 year initiative to reduce Cooper’s cost structure by $300M by 2023 through reductions in direct & indirect costs, network optimizations, labor reduction through automation, Lean CI savings initiatives, complexity reductions, and leveraging digital technology. 85% achievement by 2022.• Benchmarked digital manufacturing technologies across multiple industries. As a result of these learnings the Board approved a $15M investment to implement a Global MES system to act as the foundational architecture to support Cooper Tire’s digital strategies going forward• Developed & implemented the Cooper Production System globally providing industry best practices around safety, quality, 5S, standard work, asset care, visual management and employee engagement• Consistently delivered $12M to $14M annually in Lean Six Sigma type savings across the globe utilizing basic structured problem-solving methodologies• Optimized landed product costs through near-sourcing strategies of products and continuing to negotiate down transportation costs

Full P&L responsibility for Cooper’s 4 North American manufacturing plants. Functions reporting directly to this role included Plant Managers, Corporate Industrial & Facilities Engineering, Project Management and Manufacturing Reliability. Key accomplishments included:• Directed the America’s plant managers on a daily basis to assure manufacturing safety, output, quality, and scrap goals were executed to plan• Delivered downward trends on key safety metrics, $19m (20%) reduction in scrap, 3% YOY reduction in manufacturing costs, and $17m in labor savings• Turned-around Cooper’s worst performing plant for manufacturing costs and output to the top performing plant in North America in less than two years.

Responsible for the development and implementation of Cooper’s North America Manufacturing Strategy utilizing world class manufacturing concepts to improve productivity and reduce costs along with Cooper’s Corporate Engineering functions. Direct responsibility for Cooper’s global manufacturing equipment procurement & process strategies, facilities, Industrial Engineering, and R&D.
