Project Focus: Facilitating, in a variety of areas, a major WiFi 6 infrastructure upgrade across 4 million square feet of campus. From RF design and testing, structured cabling and switching to cloud based controllers.

Project Focus: Campus-wide "Digital Plant" network hosting and redundancy project. Minimization of single-points-of-failure in automation software connectivity and performance. Vetting existing and creating new data center documentation.

Spring - Summer 2022: • Designed the network topology for new residence halls. • Designed the network infrastructure for a new nursing facility. • Calculated data center thermal load for an HVAC upgrade. • Calculated PoE draw and correlating UPS loads. • Project lead with “3Cloud”. Calculated the cost of moving on-prem servers to Azure. Highlights 2021/22: • Project managed an upgrade of the WiFi infrastructure at four dormitories. • Project managed a firewall upgrade and object/rule cleanup.Highlights 2020: • New 36,000 Square Foot Science and Innovation Center - Project manager and technical lead for the network infrastructure, including a new underground fiber run. Integrated: Analog to digital devices, switching, multi-cast subnets for Cynap / WolfVision / Dante, digital walls, door access systems, HVAC controllers, IoT lab gear, security cameras, emergency "Blue Lights", thin clients, and WiFi. • Received recognition from the president of Rivier University during the grand opening for “making the network hum”. Project Managed / Tech Lead: • Re-routed the fiber optic backbone. Updated distribution switches. • Upgraded campus WiFi. WinTel Server Engineer (Windows on Intel Processors) - Member of the Windows Server Platform Engineering Team. Immersed in end point management, server builds, server performance analysis, networks and application integration on both physical and virtualized servers (VMWare).Successes Included: • Keeping over 2400 WinTel servers (including PCI) in security patch compliance (BigFix). • Passing multiple Payment Card Industry (PCI ) audits. • Building multiple high priority server platforms in both physical and VMWare environments. • Wrote over 100 technical knowledge base articles. • Training WinTel engineers in India how to use the BigFix endpoint management application. • Built and configured the product database servers for the Staples.com web platform. • Researched and wrote a CPU hyper-threading study for determining best system throughput. • Designed a “due diligence” process for troubleshooting WinTel servers. • Team lead for dump file analysis. • Frequently set up server performance monitors to assist application developers. Staples Projects - Server Platforms Built Out in VMWare and Physical Environments: Built numerous VM servers for various application platforms including “OpsWare”, “Exchange”, “App-V”, “Chat”, and “Mobile Device Management” to name a few. Built physical servers for a network intrusion software application. Tied the physical servers into a SAN network.

WinTel administration and desktop configuration services. • Malware removal and patch deployment - A corporation in the City of Nashua, NH. • Windows desktop administrative services - A corporation in the Town of Amherst, NH.

Enhanced the corporate bottom line by developing and maintaining three profitable eCommerce websites and one main corporate website for product promotion. Successes Included: • Attained top SEO for all major product categories. • Drove over 5000 unique visitors per month (product information website) for the sales team. • Set up over 1000 product sku's for online purchases with accurate descriptions. • Revived a half million dollar industrial textile product line. • Built the first customer marketing database using Microsoft Access. • Generated market leads by comparing SIC codes in the US. • Determined all harmonized tariff codes for product being shipped from the China plant. • Costing Analysis I - Reduced costs in telecom, internet connectivity, and website hosting. • Costing Analysis II - Determined the actual cost of a product from raw materials to finish. • Designed a ceramic component to prevent vacuum situations in a product using liquid paraffin. • Managed the IT infrastructure including the first installs of open source applications.

Successfully project managed hundreds of geotechnical and environmental projects throughout New England including the first Third Harbor Tunnel geotechnical investigation at Logan Airport. Developed new business. Created new direct marketing campaigns. Built and managed the first company website in HTML Developed an effective material supply chain. Initiated costing analysis into the bidding process on a case-by-case basis instead of using generalized metrics. This lead to more jobs being won because we knew the line where profit and loss existed.
