 Responsible for coordinating Air and Space Expeditionary Force (AEF) requirements with Air Force Material Command (AFMC)/ Air Force war planners and ensure taskings do not exceed the capabilities of 66 Air Base Group (ABG). Review all incoming AEF deployment tasking messages/documents; brief the 66 ABG Commander and other unit commanders, war planners and unit deployment managers on AEF unit type code (UTC) requirements. Plan for and evaluate readiness of all Hanscom AFB units. Provide detailed information on UTC status, corrective actions, projected completion dates, and any foreseen shortfalls or limiting factors and worked to resolve these issues. Briefed current UTC status monthly to Installation leadership, unit commanders and unit deployment managers. Analyze the capabilities of the Deliberate and Crisis Action Planning and Execution Segment (DCAPES) and Joint Operations Planning and Execution System (JOPES). Utilized both systems to extract time-phased force deployment data (TPFDD) in support of contingency and tasking requirements. Direct the activities of the Installation Deployment Readiness Cell (IDRC) day to day and Deployment Control Center (DCC) during deployments and training exercises.  Analyze readiness requirements and issues affecting the installation’s ability to fully meet its obiligations in the areas of deployment requirements, home base sustainment, support requirements and contingency support requirements. Perform system administration, data maintenance and customer support work regarding systems utilized for management and execution of assigned wartime solutions. Systems and databases included GCCS, JOPES, DCAPES, Integrated Deployment System (IDS) to include Logistics Module (LOGMOD), ART, RPT, Deployed Personnel Discrepancy Reporting Tool (DPDRT), Commander’s Toolkit (CCTK) and others.

 Utilized automated system Joint Operations and Execution System (JOPES), to determine exercise/contingency cargo volume and characteristics, vessel requirements, vessel prestow/final plans and vessel allocations and procurement. Provided staff assistance and coordination, administrative leadership and support; lead special projects; initiate action needed for compliance; assessed staff utilization for purposes of load shifting and proper resource allocation; evaluate effectiveness of program administration; monitor specials projects requirements and tasks, and reports findings and progress to management. Analyzed movement operations using qualitative and quantitative analytical techniques in order to make recommendations to management on how to solve problems and initiate action required for abatement. Developed concepts, plans, policies, and procedures pertaining to the movement and handling of DoD interest cargo in and out of ocean terminals throughout Okinawa and abroad.  Prepared after action reports and lessons learned from exercises, providing a detailed assessment of the command’s mission performance during exercises.  Assisted supported activities on matters relating to transportation planning. Evaluated input provided for inclusion in planning documents, including the Joint Operations Planning and Execution System (JOPES). Represented the Battalion at all exercise planning conferences providing SME insight and shipping cost estimates in support of JCS exercise deployment and redeployment. Prepared and delivered presentations to the command following conferences. Planned and coordinated with host nations for the procurement of required logistical requirements (i.e. MHE, work spaces, subsistence, local labor force, etc) needed to execute ship offloads and onloads at deployed locations.

Provided command outreach, support, and assistance to the unit's military personnel and their families, and assist Marines in their responsibility to attain and maintain personal and family readiness.Serve as the primary representative to provide command family readiness outreach, support, and assistance to the unit's personnel and their families at the Colonel command level.Collaborated with key personnel in the Marine Corps, principal assistants to the unit commander, and representatives of private sector organizations to coordinate work efforts and promote integration of the Family Readiness program.
