While with Fantastic I designed the system for “Connexion by Boeing” a large video content broadcasting system consisting of an HP9000 running an Oracle Database engine and multiple server platforms connected to the Fantastic broadcast platform which delivered entertainment programming via satellite to aircraft inflight from the major airlines.

I originally joined General Datacomm as the Senior Systems Engineer supporting the sales team in the Western United States. After a few months I promoted to Western Sector Manager of Channel Sales. When I joined GDC, the channel in the west consisted of 8 value added resellers, all of them in California and Washington State. Within 6 months, I had increased the number of VARs in the organization from 8 to the present compliment of 27, with resellers in 12 of the western states, and increased sales in my region by 280%.
