A proud father of four and a successful businessman, Don's life has been an example of the American Dream come true.Don has founded or co-founded 14 different companies, the first at the age of 23, ranging from window treatments, commercial real estate, facility services, and technology.The flagship company is Professional Janitorial Service (PJS), which Don founded in the spring of 1986. What originally began as a small janitorial firm in Austin, where Don did much of the cleaning himself, has now grown to become the largest privately owned janitorial company in Texas.For over 20 years, Don has been a participant in the National Prayer Breakfast and its parent organization, the International Foundation, whose mission is to walk alongside national and international political leaders and encourage them through the leadership principles taught and practiced by Jesus. Today, Don serves on the board of CORE Fellowship, whose mission parallels that of the International Foundation.Don also serves on the board of Aminex Therapeutics, Inc. Aminex is a drug development company focused on advancing a novel immunotherapy for the treatment of cancer.Blessed to have lived in Austin, Texas, for over 40 years, Don takes every opportunity he can to partner with organizations that meet the needs of those that have been oppressed, overlooked, or forgotten.
