In the spring of 1986 Don founded Professional Janitorial Services of Texas (PJS).Now celebrating its 30th year in operation, PJS is the largest janitorial services employer in Central Texas with 150 full-time and over 600 part-time personnel. Nearly 200 team members have been with us for five years or more, and have earned an average compensation increase of over 60% during their employment.PJS pays industry-leading wages and, for similar experience levels, even more than janitorial services employers in other large Texas markets. PJS has an outstanding safety record. PJS maintains high standards for handling, care, and disposal of its cleaning products, which are safer and milder than the cleaning products used in most homes. For over 20 years, Don has been a participant in the National Prayer Breakfast and its parent organization, the International Foundation, whose mission is to walk alongside national and international political leaders and encourage them through the leadership principles taught and practiced by Jesus. The National Prayer Breakfast was founded in 1953, and every U.S. President since Dwight D. Eisenhower has participated.Today, Don serves on the board of CORE Fellowship, whose mission parallels that of the International Foundation.

In 1992, Don helped found the Regents School of Austin, a private school with a classical, Christian approach to education. Don served as the Founding Chairman of the Board and also as the first Headmaster. Today the school has over 1000 students in grades K-12.
