The flooring system we would install was a polyaspartic epoxy with colored flake thrown into it while wet. After that has dried and the excess flake was removed, a clear coat of epoxy is squeegeed across the area and then smoothed out with an 18" roller. Once it was cured the floor could return to use in a matter of hours.However before all of the floor surface needs to be prepared. Prep work is fundamental to a successful job. One example would be filling in cracks with a special "poly" based binding agent that will permeate the concrete and fuse the slabs back together. Then you would diamond grind the entire surface to expose clean concrete. If the floor has a drain or need for some slope that can all be shaped while grinding. Next is applying the epoxy as mentioned above.
