We have seen that a home purchased 20 years ago in the DC metro area is worth 206% of its original value today. The stock market has increased 41% in the same period, despite all of the twists and turns of the recent years.I joined Long and Foster in 1999, coming from Storehouse Furniture where I was a regional manager supervising the 13 Mid Atlantic stores. While at Storehouse, I saw numerous times how much joy and satisfaction people's homes bring to their lives.
