Played an active and leading role in raising $4 million from founders and private placement investors, secured additional $3+ million funding for equipment and facility construction with clean rooms; guiding the validation process to qualify system; equipment and facility to meet FDA cGMP requirements.

With over twenty-three years of apparel industry experience and a progressive awareness of social and environmental responsibilities, I embarked upon a business model that is highly efficient both in the product and the process—to retrofit commercial users with energy efficient LED lighting through a streamlined procurement process for the end user. Reducing overall costs and environmental impact of product delivery translates into sustainability, shorter payback and higher ROI. Developing multi-pronged distribution channels through social networking, specific contractors and commercial users build enterprise value.

Developed concept, launched and staffed private-label apparel company with personal investment, providing merchandising, sourcing, quality control, importation, distribution, and warehousing services to medium to small companies such as Sperry, Orvis, A Pea in the Pod, Harold’s, Cross Creek, Beretta, and more. Manufactured 6 categories of apparel products and thousands of styles based on customer requirements. Managed and led a team of employees in the United States and managed regional offices in China. Spearheaded implementation and negotiation of agreements and contracts with suppliers. Recognized in industry for delivering high-quality men’s and women’s sportswear products.
