Since enlisting in the USAF in 1983, I have accumulated over 35 years of experience in aviation. I started my career as an aircraft mechanic, studied aerospace engineering at the University of MD, flight tested cruise missiles at Edwards AFB, earned my pilot wings in a USAF flight school, flew C-130 cargo aircraft, taught student pilots to fly, flew cargo for a commercial company, flew aircraft & operated radars for a law enforcement agency, and I have lead the Engineering team for the MQ-9 remotely piloted aircraft program at DHS for almost 14 years. And made the jump to GA-ASI in Poway about 1 year ago so that I could continue the life of working on developmental aircraft. While I'm sure I could have found an easier path in life, I live every day thinking how lucky I must be to ascend into the world of aviation.
