As the executive-level leader for the Army's primary sustainment training program, I provided strategic oversight and direction for the collective training of Theater Sustainment Commands, Expeditionary Sustainment Commands, and Sustainment Brigades. I led a diverse team of over 100 senior military, civilian, and contractor personnel in designing and executing complex multi-site exercises, identifying gaps and shortfalls in the assigned forces, and coordinating with senior sustainment leaders to address readiness trends and capability issues. I managed the planning, preparation, and implementation of collective training for up to 17 sustainment units annually, synchronizing my team's observations and recommendations with the Sustainment Center of Excellence to inform the Army's overall sustainment training strategy. The Resident Education Program, offered by the School of Strategic Landpower, represents the Army's highest level of professional military education—that is, Military Education Level 1 (MEL 1).The educational program is designed for senior military and civilian leaders—at the lieutenant colonel and colonel rank, typically with 22 years of service—to prepare for service at the strategic level in a joint, interagency, intergovernmental, and multinational (JIIM) national security communityThe School develops strategic leaders by providing a strong foundation of wisdom, grounded in mastery of the profession of arms, and by educating future leaders in the theory and practice of strategy, operations, national security, resource management, and responsible command.Students earn a Master’s degree in Strategic Studies, accredited by Middle States Commission on Higher Education. Graduates are also granted Joint Professional Military Education-Level II (JMPE-II). The program offers curriculum with core courses covering theories of war, strategic leadership, defense management, national security policy, and theater strategy, and elective courses.

Integrated logistics policies, programs, and plans to support the readiness of 18,000 personnel of the 1st Infantry Division. Led a team of 40 personnel that provided executive oversight for four dining facilities, six supply warehouses, and a $100M ground and aviation maintenance program. Provided oversight on ground, rail, and air movements of soldiers and equipment worldwide. Daily interaction with entire C-suite. Served as the senior logistics advisor to the CEO of the 1st Infantry Division. Areas of special focus included budgeting, strategic direction, needs assessment, policy guidance, implementation, sustainability, soldier credentialing.♦ Revamped programs which increased visibility on auditability, policy guidance, sustainability, and employee credentialing/certification programs; ensured that all performance metrics where met.♦ Implemented a program to remove 74K pieces of military equipment across 3 installations which resulted in long-term savings in maintenance and operations costs while maintaining 100% accountability of recoverable items. Short term result was completion of organizational restructuring ahead of schedule.♦ Supervised and analyzed success of auditing procedures, for compliance to Department of Defense policies.

Set the vision, direction, and high standards necessary to produce highly successful results across an organization comprised of 7 companies totaling over 1055 Soldiers throughout Germany. Maintained equipment and an operational budget of $98M. ♦ Executive Officer of a 785-Soldier multi-component and multi-functional Corps Support Battalion deployed to Operation Iraqi Freedom 05-07 providing Combat Service Support to all Corps units operation in the Multi-National Division North battlespace and reinforcing support to 172nd SBCT and 1 BCT/1AD. ♦ Responsible for synchronizing staff operations, oversight of the Tactical Operations Center, battalion maintenance operations, equipping and resourcing five subordinate companies and six detachments.♦ Managed all administrative functions from supply, personnel administration, communications, and civil affairs. ♦ Responsibilities included all matters related to contracting support, training of the 3rd Iraqi Motorized Transportation Regiment, and oversight of all life support issues on LSA Diamondback.
