Don has worked in the Architecture and Construction Industry for over 4 decades. Don received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business and Management “With Distinction” from the University of Redlands. He received his Associate Arts Degree from Riverside City College. He studied architecture at California State University Pomona and interned with several prominent architects. He also attended law school and has done extensive continuing education studies at Chaffey College and UCLA.Don was the Corporate Vice President/ Division Manager for a major Southern California Builder, and responsible for land acquisition, product design, purchasing, construction, sales and marketing. In this position, he developed, built and sold over $350M in real estate in California. His company was often cited with design awards for outstanding architecture. Don has been involved with several respected builders and architects in the design and/or construction of over 25,000 units of houses throughout California, Nevada, Arizona, Idaho, South Carolina, Hawaii and American Samoa. He has designed and developed over 2,500,000 SF of commercial and industrial projects. He is often called upon by other design and construction professionals for peer review, value engineering, cost analysis and feasibility studies.. He has done restoration architecture on historic turn of the century residences, buildings and hotels. Don has also been involved in the design and construction of various government and institutional buildings, including hospitals, justice department court buildings, convention centers and cruise ship terminals. He has also worked as an expert witness on legal cases that require cost analysis and construction claim review.
