Graphic Designer/Online ManagerShoreditch Bars Group - London Jan 2011 - Oct 2011was working exclusively with a group of bars and clubs in Shoreditch, East London including the very high profile CARGO club. This was predominantly designing for print. Some examples of work include a ten page cocktail menu [including hand illustrating all of the drinks], many flyers, logo & brand design for two separate bars, posters [up to A0 size] and corporate literature [as well as the logo for the group]. I also created a website for one of the bars and maintained the content across all six of the group's websites and social media platforms.I was also responsible for copy writing and producing all written material for the websites and any press releases sent out to the media. Following on from this short-term contract I have been working in a freelance role between London and Burgau in the south of Portugal. In which time, I have been designing websites, promotional material and helping several small businesses build their online profile using Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn etc.

During my time there I developed their site from a 'brochure' style web page to a useful tool that helped generate new business. After two months I was promoted to Internet Services Manager and given the brief of updating and improving the company Web Strategy to improve business. I introduced new ways of recruiting through the Internet and the company's own Website which significantly increased the number of CVs brought into the company. Following this success I was promoted once again to the position of IT Manager and given complete control of the company's IT Development and Strategy.
