I am working as an Interim/Consultant. Nansen is my Limited Company used solely as a financial vehicle.Last assignment was in Scotland working for the dispense arm of Nichols (Vimto) as Interim General Manager.The role involved the integration of two newly aquired sites into the existing Scottish business with subsequent single site closure, redundancies and restructuring. Responsible for Sales, Customer Service, Technical Services, Warehousing and Distribution and Site Management accross the two remaining sites.Other assignments. Two for The National Probation Service. "Value for Money" which involved providing a start point to the Service in tackling the Treasury driven VfM initiative to strip out 3% (£70m) worth of cost which is then reinvested in front line services. My role was to build a workable template at Area, Region and National level.The role was sponsored by The Director & Deputy Director of the service.Contestability. Preparing Area's to compete against each other and the Private sector for the provision of services. My role was to help Area's to identify opportunities for contestability, to run Workshops and provide practical support to improve the chance of securing £m service contracts.Man Investment. The City based Hedge Fund specialist. My role was to provide one to one coaching to the operational team functioning below the main board in the area's of Change Management, Leadership and Communication.Interim Commercial Manager at Lingarden Group, one of Europe's largest horticulture companies. Initially providing support, direction, training and coaching to the Commercial team of 5. Latterly Strategic direction to the main board resulting in a site closure and resiting to Spalding.

Multiple roles. Initially General Manager Retail, with the remit to build a Retail business from scratch which I did, generating £6m in sales in year 2. General Manager Food Service managing a team of Business Development Managers providing focus and direction into the account management function. Secured a trading agreement witha Wholesale account to underwrite 3 years sales of Portions allowing the business to access that market.Also General Manager Service Delivery, team of 30 responsible for Customer Service, Marketing Services, Sales Opps,Logistics...all aspects of service. Awarded the Management Today "Service Excellence" Award in the Business to Business catagory.

Responsible for sales of £200m through ASDA & Iceland, 20% of total company sales. Solus Own label supplier in both accounts. Managed a team of 1x Account Exec and 6 Regional Account Managers. Full P&L responsibility plus an advertising & promotions budget of £5m.

Initially at Pork Farm as Busness Development Manager promoted to Mayhew Chicken (now part of VION) as Business Development Controller...Handling and oversight of the major retailers, Tesco, ASDA, Morrison, Sainsbury, Iceland, Co-Op. Ambieny, Chilled & Frozen whole birds & further processed. Major NPD responsibility.
