I have experienced a rich life. Retired from the IT industry in 2004 allowed me to pursue a number of dreams. I travel with my lovely bride and lifelong partner to see many parts of Europe and the US, took thousands of photo's, published books on our travels "Travels with Patty" and "Patti's Secret Garden" and written and published two self published memoirs: "Letters from Otto" a memoir of my early life in upstate New York and my early adulthood as a student at UD, and "Santa's Magic" which is based on my experience of serving in a special role each Christmas holiday for over 30 years. I have also volunteered on a number of boards and been asked to participate in a number of groups which focus on the community and fellowship. My most rewarding experience since retirement has been teaching MIS to college students at the University of Dayton. In my close to 19 years I have touched the lives of over 1,000 young adults. Hopefully I will have inspired them to greatness in trying to achieve their own dreams.
