01/2023 - Present: Safe CommunitiesI oversee the Victim and Survivor Supports area within Safe Communities. Included in the work of Victim and Survivor Supports: 1) The partnered domestic violence work with thirteen community agencies. 2) The No Wrong Door Program, coordinating sexually exploited youth work. No Wrong Door coordinates service provision with 9 community agencies, participates with law enforcement on identifying perpetrators, and prevention of future trafficking. 3) The Victims Navigation Services is a pilot, serving victims of crimes that may not otherwise be receiving services given no prosecution of the case. 4) Suicide Prevention work under Public Health and with Behavioral Health. I participate on the youth suicide prevention cohort and soon to be coordinating a veteran specific suicide prevention cohort. (Safe Communities is a Hennepin County department designed to address violence reduction efforts from a public health perspective.) I previously managed the Joint Community Police Partnership (JCPP) for 9 years, focused on improving relationships between communities and police jurisdictions in Hennepin. 04/2015 - 12/2022: Initial Contact and AccessManaged an area doing assessments for adults struggling with mental health, homelessness, and developmental disabilities. Managed the Joint Community Police Partnership (JCPP), connecting police jurisdictions in Hennepin with community leaders with the goal of proactive communication and cooperation prior to critical police incidents. Acted as the county lead for unsheltered homelessness in 2020. Served as the Ombudsperson for the County Commissioners dealing with problems in the Adult area of HSPHD.04/2013 - 04/2015: Child Protection Investigations and Intake Managed approximately 75 staff working in Child Protection Screening and Investigations.

Managed a clinical team of fifteen staff including a psychiatrist, social workers and cottage counselors regarding care for clients (ages 13-18) in two units of this 60 bed residential treatment facility. Directly supervised three therapists/social workers in regards to individual and family therapy, case management and facilitating treatment groups. Assigned cases and evaluated performance. (Served in a role of a therapist from 1997-1998).

Individually responsible for overseeing volunteers in four East Coast cities. Worked closely with 25 community-based social justice organizations. Coordinated fund-raising efforts. Responsible for annual and regular giving efforts. Made public speaking engagements appealing for financial support.
