This is a full time project management position. I am currently working on multiple infrastructure and application based projects. RETS supports all divisions within the organization for data center connectivity, server & mainframe support and voice operations. My current projects / programs include a new VoIP core roll out, centralized web page consolidation for all divisions, Microsoft Office Communicator upgrade to enable External Chat (IM) across the international user base and an application program upgrade within the legal organization.

IT Project Manager

This was a contract project management position. I managed several projects for new application software rollouts. This included vendor evaluation, selection and product delivery. Applications included the upgrade to a new release of Share Point, CRM (Customer Relationship Management) and an automated HR (Human Resource) application. (note - These applications were in flight as I moved to my next opportunity) I also facilitated process documentation in support of the application implementation. I developed with the out-side vendors and in-house technicians a structured cabling standards document.

Contract Completed 3/5/2009 - Currently seeking employment.

This was a contract project management position. I managed the relocation of the storage area network for the K4 application to a new data center. I also managed the team to replicate the production data and establish a working disaster recovery solution for the K4 application. I acted as the single point of contact from the K4 business unit for all operational issues for GO&I.

Managed the infrastrtucture setup and testing for a new POS (point of sale) system to be mplemented in every store nation wide. New environments for DEV, QA and Prod in a windows VM environment.

IT PM

1st contract project management position. I managed several concurrent projects including the connectivity of a newly acquired company into the Nation Wide network.

As a PM on the data center team, I managed multiple initiatives at the program level for new builds, consolidations and closures of corporate data center facilities. I worked closely with a dedicated team of LAN, WAN and Hardware engineers. They supported a wide variety of components but the majority of the technologies deployed were in the Cisco family of products, IBM main frame components, Microsoft VMware servers and Lucent PBX's. The circuit topologies in use were mostly SONET, DWDM, Fibre Channel, private leased fiber with a variety of other support technologies for smaller locations.Cisco Optical Equipment and CNT channel extension equipment provided high speed bandwidth connections between main frames and the large regional processing centers.In addition to the project teams, I managed 3rd party structured cabling vendors and technicians following the AT&T Systemax and BICSI cabling standards. I also led Voice engineers supporting VOIP, Lucent and Nortel PBX's.Project Highlights:Support for the CNT Channel extension of the corporate data center relocation; This effort included the connectivity for 13 regional processing centers to the production and disaster recovery locations.Call centers build to support 1800 associates in the Dayton, Ohio area. Project requirements included 2 Lucent G3 switches, 30+ t1's & a variety of Cisco LAN hardware.Retrofit of the Columbus, OH data center into a development environment supporting 6 server zones (500+ servers) and the corporate engineering development lab.Rebuild of the Dallas, TX data center (800+ servers) and upgrade of the user network (36 IDF's). Participated in the team effort to develop formal project plan methodologies following the PMI project model with an emphasis on quality control though best practices in budget reporting and schedule management.

Note . I performed a variety of jobs for the merged companies of JPMC and Bank One over this 17 years period, including out-sourcing and subsequent in-sourcing of the network technology departments

I managed personnel moves within and between corporate locations. Technology included all aspects of voice and data connectivity required to support local lines of business.The specific technologies I used were Lucent G3 switches in support of call center relocations, Cisco and Nortel switches and routers for data network connectivity.My project sizes ranged from small 50 person moves to a 600+ seat call center installation.

I managed technology projects to consolidate circuit and network connectivity to reduce operational costs and enhance network performance.

I managed Avaya union personnel and network projects for the installation of data networks (LAN technologies) within Bank One corporate sites.

I managed Lucent Technologies installation personnel for LAN and WAN project installations. The work was performed at a variety of Bank One corporate sites. The technology being deployed was Bay Network Routers and Synoptics switches.

I managed personnel moves between corporate locations. All aspects of data and voice connectivity.

I supported the Financial Card division Novel server and IBM PC environment.

3rd level support trouble shooting network outages in an IBM LAN, Racal Milgo, AT&T DSU's and Timplex TDM topology.

I supported the main frame production scheduling package (ADC2) for three divisions of the Limited. Heavy focus on JCL to support daily run activities.

I managed data center operations in an IBM MVS environment and performed management activities for a 15 person staff.

I ran a NCR main frame and was a check sorter operator.
