As a sales executive for companies such as Inrange Techonolgy, his responsibilities included all areas of sales and account management for their Enterprise Network Switch for large data networks centers worldwide. Don joined NHC Communications as Senior Director of North American Sales to manage the initial sales group for major US carrier’s. In his role as director he established the sales plan for central office switching equipment to automate the Main Distribution Frames (MDF) and outside plant. This was the first AMDF sales effort in the US. Don managed the first field trials of Automated Main Distribution Frame (AMDF) system to Verizon Communications in an effort to impove the company’s capital investment savings by bringing automation to the central offices. Don negotiated the original NHC contract with Verizon for AMDF installations As Director of Global Accounts for Telepath Networks, Don is responsible for Managing Verizon, Fairpoint Communications and Frontier Communications including the “New Business” accounts nationwide. Don’s key role is charged with developing the Verizon Account, managing the relations with Verizon, and oversee the Customer support; also expand new accounts and expanding existing client base. He has a strong technical background in telecommunication and broad-based project management, coordination and leadership. Don has a proven track record and is familiar with the ILEC sale process from introduction of product to field trail evaluations, sales and follow up support.Don holds a Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech, and A+ Microsoft Certified in Network Administrator (CSEE).
