Working across organizations and disciplines, from architectural design development to building turn-over, I collaborate with developers, architects, builders and to optimize process, product, cost, constructability and return-on-investment.Since 2004, I have focused exclusively on helping wood industry companies analyze and act on the challenges that constrain their business performance and impede growth. Apprenticed as a classical cabinetmaker, I have worked everywhere from the bench to the boardroom; running casework, furniture and store fixture manufacturing companies including my own. My cross-functional management and executive experiences have resulted in a unique skill set that enables me to identify and understand business constraints and develop effective move-forward strategies. With an approach that is end-to-end in scope, my specific improvement projects have included business strategy and development, product management, operations development and organizational design.Over the years, I’ve written and presented extensively on the issues facing wood industry business leaders. He has worked extensively across the U.S., Canada and Western Europe.When not working, my interests include reading, traveling, cooking, music and art.
