Responsible store operations, store audits, policies & procedures, staffing, scheduling, training, store communication, merchandising, Inventory Control, Loss Prevention, Safety, Controllable Expenses, Direct Supervision of total store and Customer Service. When I took over the Buena Park location in May 2010 the store was running in the red for both forecast and comparison to last year. By year end the store was 4.8% over last year and 1.4% over forecast. When I left the company my store was at 6.8% over forecast and 12.5 over last year. I have implemented routines that have resulted in a 45% reduction in shrink over the past year.Prior to my current assignment in Buena Park I was a Trainer and Mentor for new Store Managers and Assistant Managers in the San Diego Market.

Full spectrum of increasingly responsible positions beginning as a Courtesy Clerk, Clerk, Key Person to Assistant Manager Merchandising and Manager of Production. Responsible for the store in Manager’s absence, operations, customer service, ordering, merchandising, scheduling, inventory control, employee relations and facility management. Prior to becoming a Key Person I was district frozen food trainer in Orange County. As Manager of Production with Ralphs “Giant” Division, supervised the crews that were setting up new 100,000 square foot plus store locations. Responsible for overseeing plan-o-gram setup, merchandising and stocking according to company standards. During this period I trained at Ralphs warehouse facilities in Compton in warehouse operations. During my over 23 years with Ralphs, I opened 6 “Giant” stores and 8 Ralphs Store locations.
