Manage the Software Design Assurance team to deliver exceptional service to our partner organizations while while we collaboratively deliver best-in-class medical devices and digital software products and systems to our customers.Provide design assurance guidance to product development and program management as we create and deploy efficient procedures which meet international regulatory standards as well as industry best practices.Provide Agile development guidance and training to ensure a common understand of SAFe Agile principles and practices.

Managed the deployment of SAFe Agile practices throughout the company’s various international design centers. Worked with dozens of product teams across various product portfolio teams to understand the challenges and benefits of their current processes. Created Mission and Vision Statements for a common process and tool set which creates alignment across all teams and enables the delivery of end user solutions leveraging many discrete products. Defined a common, tailorable process which supports all layers of the SAFe 4.5 process. Deployed this common process by providing training classes and support documentation to all product teams across multiple international design centers.

Managed team of up to 35 local and up to 45 international engineers and managers. Responsibilities included talent acquisition, career planning, coaching, mentoring, conducting performance reviews and organizational restructuring. Managed all box test functions for 2 major releases and 4 minor releases per year. Responsibilities included project scope determination, strategic initiatives, planning, tracking, reporting and assessing all box test activities. These activities included project-level and feature-level schedule and effort estimations, equipment needs assessments, requirements reviews, manual and automated test creation and execution activities, latent defect prediction analysis, and overall product quality goals. Managed process creation and improvement activities including defining and deploying the overall Agile box test process for all Motorola Solutions Devices Box Test teams worldwide, improving test screening effectiveness and test efficiency, increasing automated test coverage, and ensuring appropriate test coverage levels between box test and the upstream and downstream test activities.While maintaining my Test Manager position, managed 7 product releases including software enhancements, new product hardware, new product accessories and new system-level features. Responsibilities included collaboration with Product Management and Project Management teams to define the optimal feature set and deployment schedule, creation of detailed project plans covering cost, schedule, resource and equipment needs, identification and deployment of risk management and quality goals, and execution and tracking of the project to completion.
