Ensured coordination and management of all medical and nonmedical equipment and classes of supply valued at $7M and planned, programmed, and executed an operating budget of $3.5M.Key Achievements:• Designated a “Medical Service Corps Top Producer when five of six subordinate officers applied for the Critical Skills Retention Bonus, at a time when many junior officers were choosing instead to leave the service. Established temporary hospital ward in one of the barracks to provide palliative care. Provided multiple daily status reports to the Army Operations Center at the Pentagon for briefing to the Chief of Staff. Coordinated with state and county health departments to identify the source of the outbreak, and to gather samples to confirm the presence of the virus. As a result, outbreak was isolated and burned out.
