I am an experienced IT Director / Project Manager, and a PMP Candidate, offering 17 years of leadership in large and small scale technology projects in a healthcare setting. I learned early on that IT projects do not end with implementation. Ongoing system support and optimization efforts are essential for client satisfaction and a positive return on investment. With this in mind, I decided to redirect my career path specifically towards a particular passion of mine, Project Management and Consulting. I have experience researching, vetting, and recommending technology solutions, arranging and participating in pre-sale presentations, negotiating contracts, and acting as a liaison between sales teams and project stakeholders. Following the selection process, I developed and monitored project plans; anticipated and communicated potential risks; scheduled resources for phased implementation; planned, coordinated, and assisted with implementation activities; developed and managed the project budget; and guided cross-functional project teams through the implementation process. Working for an independent, multi-facility healthcare organization, I managed product selection, implementation, optimization efforts, and/or ongoing support for a variety of solutions in several functional areas including Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, Facilities, Food Service, Nursing, Therapy, and IT. My diverse operational experience, combined with an intuitive nature, allows me to quickly master less familiar business, technology, and/or regulatory solutions that are designed to benefit any professional environment.
