As OUTSOURCE LIAISON I juggled numerous functions. The main to oversee, screen and select 15 to 35 agencies that best fit our needs. Included in my responsibilities: working with each agency to maximize performance, drive collection results, as well as reduce compliance and legal risk to our organization. This was done through reviewing performances and hold conference calls on a bi-weekly status or more if needed. Along with these tasks I also handled daily, weekly and monthly reports to include weekly remits, wires, compliant logs, pay directs, licensing, bonding, matrix updates, projections, all customer contacts. Added to the position included placements, recalls, special recalls; and exception reports.

Go-More financial was a smaller company (40-50 employees). Due to this factor I handled many roles to include recruiting, hiring, training (new and continuing), and staffing. As we grew I took on more responsibilities to increase production. This included interviewing vendors for skip tracing tools, dialer systems and auditing.Audits were completed on a regular basis, both by client and individual collector. F.D.C.P.A. training was held quarterly.

As a collection manager I handled multiple teams and clients. When Providian came on board, I worked with upper management to write the SOP and guidelines for the strict guidelines which the client demands. As we grew, the need for a training class was in high demand. I took on the task and created a multiple level training outline. Once we got the program up and running to the level we needed, a teacher was hired to assume the position, allowing me to focus on my teams.

I was hired to turn around a failing charge off department with the main focus of First USA Bank. After reviewing and studying the process I set out a 90 day plan of action. With changes in place and staffing replacements, the goal was achieved and F-USA was back on track and in second place. Once this was achieved, a new milestone needed winning. Providian wanted to go from 14 agencies to two with in a short amount of time. I was asked to work on this project to assure we were the agency to beat. As we did, Receiving A Recognition from Providian National Bank as an individual for Outstanding Contribution.

Responsible for the Bank One team along with the collections. As being held accountable for both at the same time, I was still able to achieve all goals and levels expected, earning the top achievement award, the 15k club in under 90 days.

The best opportunity for growth at this time was on the Capital One team. I was able to quickly grow a solid unit and continue to achieve monthly quota consecutively earning numerous awards including collector of the month.

I began my career as an associate for Discover Card Services from July 94-June 95, then became team lead until January 96 when I took over as Training and Skip trace manager. In January of 1997 I was promoted to Production Manager of the Discover Card team. As my success grew so did my responsibilities to include several other clients such as Citi Bank, Chase Manhattan Bank, Neiman Marcus, and Auto Loan deficiencies until the sale of AM Miller to OSI.
