I engaged in a consultancy role with The International Society for Quality in Health Care (ISQua) during this period. I worked in a team of three whereby we examined the viability of a proposed postgraduate programme the organisation are preparing to launch in collaboration with a number of high-profile international universities. It was our task to outline the roadmap for the organisation going forward with this venture. The project proved as a superb opportunity for me to expand my expand my horizons. I received excellent feedback from my superiors whilst in this role including endorsements of my leadership qualities, organisational skills and dependable nature.

Dublin

Having successfully worked in AIB I secured an three month internship in the account opening department in Dublin. I principally dealt with processing new account information received from AIB branches nationwide. I performed security checks on confidential forms of identification. In addition to this, I was involved in many group meetings and assisted on promotional campaigns run in the various Dublin colleges and universities. The sensitive nature of the information I was dealing with on a daily basis enabled me to advance my ethical awareness of business operations.

Monaghan

My role during my time here was quite diverse. I undertook tasks such as minute taking of staff meetings, various filing assignments, answering the telephone to customers. My experience at AIB certainly helped me mature and the flexible nature of my role enabled to a become better-rounded aspiring professional.

My tasks included operating the till system, maintaining stock control measures and also initiating the transfer of stock between our “sister” stores. I also became experienced in interacting with customers both in person and via telephone and email. I co-operated with my fellow staff members and became familiar working in a team environment.
