Contract Nadcap Chemical Process and AQS Auditor.Nadcap Chemical Process Trainer

I am responsible for the Engineering operations of 7 fabrication plants located throughout the United States with a total employment of 120 people. My present employer manufactures custom electroplating and metal finishing tooling as well as material handling carts and fixtures. They are the largest manufacturer of these products in North America. I also have sales responsibility for special and complex accounts as well the territories of Nebraska, Iowa, and Kansas City. When a regional sales engineer outside of my territory is working on a complex project, my involvement is sought secure the sale and to assure effective tooling and efficient time goals are attained.To assure that my territory is managed properly, it is my responsibility to create specific itineraries using various tools such as trade show leads and manufacturers guides. The use of supplier networks and present customer leads are also used as necessary tools to increase sales potential. New accounts are qualified through phone, email, or personal onsite contact. My employer also depends on me to integrate and support any computer related issues. I am skilled in Microsoft Office software and Graphite (CAD software). I am also responsible for all OSHA and EPA compliance at all plants. This includes establishing safe working conditions through written health and safety programs, training, and regulatory agency interface.

As Process Analyst, I had complete responsibility for high volume production and chemical processes in the electroplating and finishing department for a major door hardware manufacturer. Duties included management of 45 employees on two shifts, management of Chemical Control Lab, management of Waste Water Treatment, and EPA and OSHA compliance. I was actively involved in new equipment selection and installation as well as new process development to include Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD), Electro Coat, and Powder Coating. As Process Analyst, I was responsible to assure that the plating operations are following the established industry standards through written process plans.

This manufacturer of automotive fuel pumps gave me the engineering responsibilities for injection molding, CNC machining, and hard anodizing. Hired during start up, my responsibilities were to develop written processes, specify and install additional equipment as production required. All written procedures and new equipment were required to meet OSHA standards of safe operation. Participated in supplier conformance through off site audits.

As the Manufacturing Engineer it was my responsibility to develop written Manufacturing Process Plans for aerospace finishing processes as directed by Military Specifications. I was also required to provide supplier compliance and support activity. During my tenure I was assigned to several internal audit teams and as an escort for customer auditors including DCAS, Army, and the Air Force.
