I worked for over 30 years in the luxury hotel industry running some of the best hotels in the world. I spent almost 20 years with Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group and also worked for Ian Schrager, Waldorf Astoria and Joie de Vivre. In 2019 I started my own business, DBC LLC. The majority of my work is as a Service Culture Coach and I also offer more traditional hotel and hospitality consulting services including pre-opening advisory and support, For my Service Culture Coaching work, I have developed a year-long partnership program where I lead senior leadership teams through a well-planned series of phases that are designed to shift (or create) a culture that supports service excellence. I create highly customized programs for each company I work with and have worked with a diverse range of companies including call centers, manufacturing firms, dental practices, country clubs, casinos, restaurants, financial services providers, insurance companies and technology companies.I remain active in the community and spend time as a faculty member of the International School of Hospitality, the premier hub of accredited hopitality education and training, as the Chair of the Nevada Hotel and Lodging Foundation and as an Ambassador for lululemon.
