The district secretary is responsible for keeping a full and complete record of the proceedings of the district at its regular and special conventions and at the meetings of the board of directors. The secretary serves as a voting member of the district's board of directors and as part of the presidium with the three vice presidents and the district president. Besides the above mentioned responsibilities the secretary regularly reviews and recommends to the board approval of all congregational constitutions, certifies all delegates, voting and advisory, to the national convention of the LCMS, and serves as the manager of all dispute resolution cases within the district.

St. Peter Lutheran Church is a rural church of approximately 400 members that dates back to 1886. It is affiliated with the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod. I offer the full range of pastoral services including catechesis for young and old, pastoral counseling, visitation of the sick and home-bound, ministry to the grieving, worship leadership, etc.

I serve as an online instructor for the "Preaching the Faith" course in the Specific Ministry Program (SMP) through Concordia Theological Seminary, Ft. Wayne, IN. This is the sole homiletics class in this program and lasts 10 weeks.

Antigo Circuit #7, North Wisconsin District, Lcms

I represented the district president for Circuit 7, which includes 9 churches, 1 elementary day school, and the called workers of the circuit (pastors, school administrator, deacon, teachers). Specific duties might include managing the call process for vacant parishes, installing pastors (as requested by the district president), and offering conflict resolution and other assistance in difficult situations that might arise in the various parishes.

Trinity is a church of about 1,600 members, affiliated with the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod, which also runs a day school, preschool through 8th grade. I initially served as the associate pastor for the first year and was later installed as the senior/administrative pastor after Dr. Gieschen was called to the seminary, a position I held for the remainder of my time at Trinity. My responsibilities included supervision of the called and regularly employed staff and coordination of all ministry activities (worship, school chapel, confirmation, Bible classes, etc.). During a vacancy in the principal position I briefly assumed the duties of that office in addition to my pastoral ones, while also assisting with a nearby vacancy.

St. John is a church of about 500 members affiliated with the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod

Grace Lutheran Church was originally an established and subsidized mission congregation of approximately 120 members, affiliated with the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod.
