I am currently a senior at Purdue University pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering. I am serving as a Residential Assistant for Purdue University Residences. This enables me to expand on my people and problem-solving skills surrounding conflict mediation and community building. I have studied engineering and have been a part of several collaborative design projects for the past nine years. I have most recently worked as an Engineering Intern at Acutec Precision Aerospace where I have been able to take my engineering skills to the next level while expanding to new projects and software. Through my time at Purdue, l have been able to enhance my skills using Computer Aided Design software, and programming languages such as C, Python, and Matlab. I am a goal-driven individual who enjoys being part of and leading a team to ensure projects are done efficiently and hold up to expectations. My role as a Quality Assurance Manager for a rental car company has been able to enhance my leadership skills which I hope to build upon throughout my engineering career. I am also a member of the Purdue Astronomy Club and Purdue Orbital which helps me network with other students who share the same passion and drive as I do. I have spent four years at Best Buy as a sales consultant which has given me the opportunity to enhance my people skills and problem-solving capabilities beyond engineering.
