Hi, I am Don Parrish. My close friends know me as "Butchie". I am currently a retired Physical Education teacher from Defiance High School. I have been involved in education for 34 yrs. . One motto I truly believe is this: "If you are satisfied with your success, then learning has stopped." I have been retired from coaching since 2022. My coaching has been in a variety of sports, both boys and girls. Most of my coaching yrs. have been involved with football. May, 2018 I was hired as the head football coach at North Central Schools, Pioneer, Ohio. I started a football program at the school for the first time in school history. 2018 was first year. (1-5-2). In April 2019 after 1 yr. unfortunately resigned due to a family health issue. A wonderful experience for me as a first time head coach. As of July 1, 2019 I am returning to Ayersville High School as the football offensive coordinator. Coach Dales has returned to being the Head Football Coach and has ask me to return in this capacity. I truly enjoy working with, and seeing young people grow with life's lessons and learning to become a valued citizen in our society.
