Service Dispatcher Iii
CurrentMonitor distribution system for outages and assist in the restoration of services. Communicate with employees regarding the installation, operation, maintenance and restoration of the distribution system. Subject to 24-hour call. Duties and Responsibilities:1. Monitor distribution system for outages using a hardware/software system such as CADOPS or other methods as needed.2. Determine resources necessary for service restoration, prioritize outages, and dispatch crews or notify supervision for selection of overtime crews.3. Assist in restoration process by researching and providing information and coordinating between crews, sections, customers and non-company personnel or agencies.4. Receive, prepare, prioritize, schedule and dispatch routine installation, maintenance and service orders to distribution personnel.5. Communicate and coordinate work with employees, customers, contractors and outside agencies such as Fire, Police and Office of Emergency Management (OEM).6. Receive, record and update information on company logs, mainframe, Outage Restoration Management System (ORMS) and/or other systems as directed.7. Input and retrieve data from computer terminals, personal computers and other sources
