As Chief, J2 Intelligence Support Division, responsible for providing all-source current, threat and warning analysis on World-Wide crisis situations in support of the Director for Intelligence, J2, Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff, the Secretary of Defense, and the Combatant Commands. Directed daily production of all-source, multi-discipline current threat briefs and written products; personally oversaw J2 participation in the intelligence coordination process including Joint Staff action papers and National Intelligence Community regional assessments.Established and modified regional all-source intelligence collection strategies.Managed the production of substantive warning intelligence for the Defense I&W system and Defense Global Warning System.

Accountable for expediting National-level, all-source, multi-disciplined intelligence supporting the Command's OPLAN 5027 and armistice requirements. Worked closely with the Korean Defense Intelligence Agency and the Defense Intelligence Command to coordinate bilateral US-ROK information-sharing initiatives. Pentagon

Managed annual $6 million J2 budget. Responsible for all J2 administration, including: civilian and military personnel, security policy, space management, crisis planning, program development and budgeting. Supervised extensive J2 reorganization and initiated original plans for the J2 segment of the Pentagon renovation.Established the first dedicated EEO and health and safety officer position in the J2 organization.
