Led NSA’s primary research Program at Sandia National Laboratories. Program held up by Director of National Intelligence as the model for “how the Intelligence Community should engage with the National Labs.”Technologies investigated by the program included cloud security, large graph and algorithm processing, streaming data analysis, and mobility.Identified new areas of research in which to engage and acquired funding by convincing senior leadership the areas should be added to the portfolio.Ran an annual eight week intensive technical workshop with approximately 35 people.Transferred technology from the labs back to NSA operational groups.Conducted unique research and development, primarily in cloud security, mobility, and streaming data analysis.Managed staff assigned to the program.
