I started Pro Brand Solutions in 2003 on my own as a one man band.Managing sales, accounts and deliveries was at times very challenging, and it was not long before I employed my first driver and my mother in law as an accountant. Since 2003 we have managed to grow the company on a year to year basis, selling a 30% stake in the business to Thorsten Stamer in my 4th year of operation.Thorsten owned a company called Africa Media Warehouse that helped me expand my business into other African countries. The first of these being Botswana, then Mozambique Namibia, Zambia and later Kenya.Although we only have offices in Botswana currently, due to the sometimes some hard lessons we learnt branching into other areas of Africa. We still supply all these countries but no longer have offices situated in country except in Botswana. In 2015 we managed to attract BEE partners and started Pro Brand Africa who are 100% black owned company, which enable us to target large corporates and parastatals. PBA have benefited off our top tier discounts that we have managed to negotiate from the biggest wholesalers in South africa as well as the relationships and experience we have managed to build through the years. In 2018 we sold 50% of our shares in Botswana to businessmen Jagdish Shah and Knight Ganye. Botswana is now a self -standing branch that have grown significantly over the years. In 2023 Pro Brand turned 20, a milestone that I am very proud of, managing to grow the Pro Brand Group into one of the top Promo companies in southern africa employing 27 people. I still have very big ambitions for the Pro Brand Group, my energy, passion and excitement in this ever growing industry remains un waivered.
